Paris, September 1, 2022 – Hivest Capital Partners (“Hivest Capital“), a private equity firm founded in december 2016, reaches the hard cap of its second fund (Hivest II) by raising €300m, representing 2.5x Hivest I, closed at €120m in May 2017.
Hivest II is supported by most of Hivest I’s historical investors as well as new leading French, European and American institutional investors.
Hivest II is in line with Hivest Capital’s strategy consisting in the acquisition of family-owned businesses and non-core activities of major corporates and the revealing of their full potential through growth and operational transformation initiatives.
Hivest II will focus on majority or minority investments in French and European companies with revenues ranging between €50m and €500m. The fund will invest between €10m and €60m per transaction and has the ability to secure higher amounts with the support of its investors.
Hivest Capital brings together a dozen professionals and intends to significantly increase the size of its team in the coming years. With complementary backgrounds in investment, operations and entrepreneurship, Hivest Capital’s teams are unique in their ability to support companies, both financially and operationally through transformation and development projects.
Hivest Capital has already started to deploy Hivest II by acquiring the Agora Technologies Group in May 2022.
