The Agora Makers group, supported by Hivest Capital Partners, strengthens its position in connected street lighting with the acquisition of Nexiode

Paris, Nancy, and Quimper, March 4^th, 2024 – Agora Makers recently announced the successful acquisition of Nexiode, an R&D company specializing in smart solutions for urban and sports lighting.

This acquisition marks a significant step in Agora Makers’ growth strategy, strengthening its presence and capabilities in public lighting. By integrating Nexiode into its portfolio, the group is in particular consolidating its position as a leading provider of innovative and sustainable lighting solutions.

Since its creation in 2015, Nexiode quickly evolved into a major player on the smart lighting market; the company has developed connectivity solutions enabling the remote management of luminaire networks, encompassing advanced features such as real-time surveillance and failure detection, lighting programming and dimming and consumption measurement.
