Videlio acquires Octalino and strengthens its position in the education and public services sectors

Videlio, a leading provider of audiovisual and digital integration solutions, announces the acquisition of Octalino, a company based in the Île-de-France region specializing in the design and integration of audiovisual systems serving the education and public service sectors.

This strategic move significantly strengthens Videlio’s presence in two rapidly evolving sectors: education, undergoing a profound digital transformation, and public service, where responsiveness, reliability, and proximity are essential requirements.

Founded and led by Guillaume Hunout, Octalino has, for over ten years, established itself as a trusted partner for educational institutions, universities, local authorities, and public organizations by delivering robust, user-friendly, and long-lasting audiovisual solutions.

This acquisition aligns with our ambition to provide solutions that are ever more tailored to real-world needs—whether in a classroom, a town hall, or a lecture hall. Octalino’s expertise in educational and public environments is a major strategic asset for Videlio,” said Xavier Renaud, President of Videlio.

Guillaume Hunout will continue to lead Octalino, with the mission of preserving the agility, proximity, and responsiveness that have been the company’s hallmarks, while strengthening the trusted relationships it has built with clients over the past 17 years.

“Joining Videlio is a fantastic opportunity to continue growing while staying true to our values. We are keeping our organizational structure, operational autonomy, and above all, our ability to listen, understand, and respond quickly to our clients’ needs. That’s what makes the difference—and that’s what we will continue to enhance with the Group’s support,” stated Guillaume Hunout, Founder and Managing Director of Octalino.
