Agora Makers, a portfolio company of Hivest Capital Partners, has acquired Orange Lighting to strengthen its presence in the Netherlands

Paris, March 24, 2025 – Agora Makers, an international group specializing in the design, manufacture and distribution of lighting, smart and street furniture solutions under renowned brands such as Eclatec, GHM, Nexiode-Agora Connect, Metalco, Bellitalia, and CityDesign, is pleased to announce the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of Orange Lighting (the “Company”), a Dutch company specialized in public lighting.

Founded in 2012 in Enschede, the Netherlands, Orange Lighting is one of the leading players on the Dutch lighting market, having rapidly developed thanks to its robust commercial network and client-centric approach. This acquisition will enable Agora Makers to increase its presence in the Netherlands, alongside with its existing subsidiary, GHM Eclatec, active since 2011. Both entities will work together with a consolidated offering, respectively addressing functional lighting needs via Orange Lighting, and decorative segments through GHM Eclatec.
