Hivest Capital Partners strengthens its UK presence with the appointment of Paul Canning as Senior Advisor

Hivest Capital Partners (“Hivest”), a European and US private equity firm specialising in complex investment situations and operational transformation, is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Canning as Senior Advisor, based in London.

Paul brings over 30 years of experience in private equity and corporate finance, with a strong track record in the UK mid-market. He was previously Partner and Head of UK Private Equity at H.I.G. Capital, where he led investments across a broad range of sectors, including business services and industrials. He is also a founding partner of TREUN Capital.

Paul will work alongside Freya Macken and Aleix Sumpsi, both Principals at Hivest, and the broader investment team to further develop the firm’s presence in the UK, leveraging his extensive network and experience to identify and pursue complex mid-market investment opportunities.
