Hivest Capital Partners supports Marie-Laure PLV in its new growth chapter

Paris, December 14th 2023 – Hivest Capital Partners S.A.S. (“Hivest Capital“), an independent European private equity firm, has acquired a majority stake in Marie-Laure PLV from its founder, Marie-Laure Traux-Binsse, who will remain involved in the project and will support the company’s development as President of the Supervisory Board. The transaction enables the main executives and managers of the company, led by Pierre Marand, President of the group, to acquire a stake in the structure.

Marie-Laure PLV, ambassador of French premium savoir-faire, is one of the leading companies on the premium point of sales (POS) merchandising for cosmetics players. Its team designs, develops and manufactures high-end POS merchandising projects for the luxury industry. The company recently accelerated its development by acquiring three shopfitting entities, thus broadening the skills that benefit its customers.

Through its 6 manufacturing sites in France, the company employs c. 500 people and manages a wide range of solutions and materials (metal, plastic, cardboard…) enabling to fulfil constantly evolving customers’ needs, increasingly driven by environmental challenges.

Hivest Capital, Marie-Laure Traux-Binsse and the company’s management team have the ambition to reinforce the group’s organisational structure, in order to consolidate its position on historical markets while developing internationally and up the value chain.
